A Club turbo training session

The Club runs a programme of regular weekly training sessions in all three triathlon disciplines.

All sessions are all open to non-members at a cost of £5/session.

In most cases there is no minimum requirement though please note the following:

  • We cannot accommodate complete non-swimmers
  • Cyclists are expected to be capable of riding non-stop for an hour and finding their own way home (our rides typically remain within 5-10 miles of Cambridge)
  • Under 16s may only attend adult sessions by arrangement. Please see our Junior Section page

Club Training Programme

Below are the sessions we are currently running. These change throughout the year depending on the season and amount of light (for example we have Open Water Swimming sessions on a Friday during Summer). For details of what we offer during the year please see the posts for each individual sport.

Saturday
0800 - 0915: Swimming, Impington Village College
0800 - 1000: Junior Section Sessions, Impington Village College, see Juniors for details.
1030 - 1400: Cycling, meet at Impington Village College

Sunday
0930: Running, Milton Country Park (opposite Tesco's)
Steady run 60-90mins.  November 1st - March 28th.

Monday
2100 - 2200: Swimming, Frank Lee Centre, Addenbrookes
1915 - 2015: Junior Section Swimming, Bottisham VC

Tuesday
0645 - 0745: Swimming, Impington Village College
1830 - 2030: Cycling, Chaingangs (due to start April)

Wednesday
1900 - 2100: Turbo Training, November 4th - March 31st

Thursday
0645 - 0800: Swimming, Impington Village College
1845 - 2000: Running, from April 1st on Leys School playing field, Latham Rd (off Trumpington Rd)

Friday
1815 - 1915: Open Water Swimming, from May 7th 2010
